The design of the 1960 Buick was basically a toned-down version of the '59s. The fins were trimmed back a bit, and the headlights brought back to a horizontal positioning. A concave grille and a relatively simple bumper cleaned up the front. The sides of the car featured more sculpting as a "jet tank" shape swept from the headlights back to the center of the door and the rear fender was sculpted back to the rear bumper.
