The 1952 Buicks were only modestly changed from the 1951 model year. The side trim spear began at the leading edge of the front wheel well, and made a sweeping turn in front of the rear wheel opening and ran along the rocker panels terminating at the rear of the front wheel well. In 1952 Buick grille's now exhibited only 17 "teeth" rather than the 25 from the prior year. Modest chrome rear fender fins finished off the trim. Power steering was an option on the Supers and the Roadmasters.
